Old School Football Club

Hello,

 

The directors of Old School Soccer Camps are unhappy to announce that we’ve had to cancel our Summer Camps for 2020.  The state of Massachusetts has made it clear that it is not interested in allowing soccer in this phase / summer.

 

We love soccer and had a brilliant first year of camps  in 2019.  We expected to almost double attendance this year.  We think that our structure of small groups & close direction from different coaches from both neighboring High Schools and Old School FC give both individual players and upcoming town teams a good warm-up for the upcoming season as well as a fun environment.

 

The State’s outlook on Soccer as a high risk sport along with its subsequent heavy handed regulation, as well as some provincial restrictions on facilities from the town will not allow us to deliver the environment that we’d like to provide.  We considered a shortened / clinic-like experience at a reduced rate, but the restrictions would remain in place and dampen the experience.

 

All of the Club Directors thank you for registering for our camps and clinics.  These camps are a labor of love for us, we’ve played and lived the great game of soccer since elementary school - right here in Medway.  We live local, coach local, and want to continue to pass along the decades of soccer learnings to the local towns and regions.

 

All of your registration fees will be refunded in full with the possible exception of the RegSaver  Insurance.  As repeatedly mentioned in the registration process, RegSaver is NOT provided by Old School, it is an external optional service.
